Un Verano Sin El Estado Workshops/ Talleres

It’s time to get curious about what kind of cooperativas, comunes, y comunidades we can build and sustain when we look to the power of our gente y historias! These trainings will bridge  the gaps from casual  interest to learning the ins and outs, and making tangible progress on your mutual aid projects. Throughout the rest of the summer, you can join any of the four virtual workshops to learn something new, broaden your skill set, and develop critical strategy. 

The workshops are led by Nikki Marin Baena, a long time organizer, expert facilitator,  and creative artist, who has helped start several businesses. She’ll guide folks  through- creating your own cooperativas,  managing money – not letting it manage you, and using creative marketing tools to draw gente into your collective!
